School Visits

As an educator, Gabriela finds presenting to students to be second nature. The skills she uses in her classroom: lesson design, connection, and relativity, are the same ones she uses when designing presentations. Each presentation is crafted to be age-appropriate, enriching, and engaging.


Presentations

Lower Elementary K-2

Storytime and Q&A: includes a reading and a question and answer session (30 minutes)

Upper Elementary 3-5

Storytime, Q&A, and Activity: includes a reading, question and answer session, and activity. (40 minutes)

Middle School 6-8

Power of Persistence: includes a reading, question and answer session, and the journey to publication, including the rejections but the importance of never giving up on a dream. (45 minutes)

Rewarding Revisions: includes a reading, question and answer session, and the importance of revision. Using early drafts and the revision process during publication to show that small changes can make a big impact. (45 minutes)

High SCHOOL 9-12

Power of Persistence: includes a reading, question and answer session, and the journey to publication, including the rejections but the importance of never giving up on a dream. Writing activity on how to write a request email. (50 minutes)

2024 Rates

  • Storytime w/ Q&A: $150 each reading.
  • Half-day: $500 Includes 2 presentations.
  • 3/4-day: $650 Includes 3 presentations.
  • Full-day: $900 Includes 4 presentations. Lunch option with teachers, book club, or selected students included.

For travel over 250 miles from 92363, travel expenses will be added.
